TEAM provides the opportunity to be creative, meet new people, try new things and have lots of fun. All TEAM classes are run in a relaxed and friendly environment where the emphasis is placed on encouraging confidence and pride in the dances produced. Lucy and her staff are highly qualified dance tutors, who lead all the sessions with great energy and aim to pass on their passion for this art form to each of their groups.

It was here where she gained her Associate teaching qualifications and advanced dance exams in Classical Ballet, Modern, Tap, Freestyle Acrobatics and LAMDA

She has had an extensive and successful professional career working in television and theatre as a dancer, singer, actress and choreographer.

Lucy has had many years of teaching children and young adults and puts her invaluable experience into providing expert and quality tuition. Lucy has run TEAM for 10yrs in Crystal Palace teaching local Children the technical way to dance. She is 100 % committed to her profession and attends regular courses and classes to keep up on the latest developments. Lucy is accredited by the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) and holds a 100% examination pass rate in Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz Exams. Lucy has also trained children who have gone onto perform and train with The Royal Ballet Associates, English Youth Ballet, The London Children's Ballet, The Lion King - West End, as well as having children become All England Dance Finalists, International Theatre Award Nominees and Winners of The Premier Dance Awards.

Lucy began dancing at the age of three, quickly developing a passion for performing. Throughout her childhood, she appeared in numerous pantomimes and competed in the prestigious All England Dance Festivals, building a strong foundation in dance and stage performance.

At the age of 16, Lucy trained at the renowned Italia Conti Academy, where she graduated with a three-year Diploma in Musical Theatre and Dance. During her training, she also achieved LAMDA qualifications and gained her initial teaching credentials.

Following graduation, Lucy made her West End debut in Copacabana at the Shaw Theatre. She also toured in A Midsummer Night's Dream with Theatre in Education (TIE), further expanding her professional performance experience.

Lucy has enjoyed a varied career across theatre, television and commercial work. Her credits include commercials for Thomas Hilliard, backing vocals for Priscilla produced by Jimmy Howard, and appearing as a dancer on Channel 4's Johnny Vegas: 18 Stone of Idiot. She has also performed in many pantomime productions over the years, including Aladdin, Mother Goose, and Babes in the Wood.

In 2012, Lucy was honoured to perform as part of the Ballet de Corps in the London Olympic Games Closing Ceremony, dancing alongside Darcey Bussell in the spectacular Phoenix of the Flame segment.

Alongside her performing career, Lucy is a highly qualified and experienced dance teacher. She gained her ISTD teaching qualifications in 2008 and, in 2010, achieved her IDTA teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Freestyle.

Today, Lucy is passionate about inspiring the next generation of performers, sharing her knowledge, experience and love of dance with students of all ages and abilities.
